Cape Town Parliament

One of the most interesting places visited while in Cape Town was the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa. Photos of these beautiful buildings follow. Cape Town was made the legislative capital in 1910. Each person received a pamphlet entitled Guide For Visitors to Parliament which explained the functions of Parliament, the Composition, the Constitution and how laws are made. Here we met Winnie Mandela in one of the corridors.
